Ho Hum

I want something simple - this is good. I want functionaltity - this is debatable. I have a few concerns but I want to highlight one. When I set a task I cant set a time or get a reminder via pop-up or sound or some way other than looking at the list. This is a big problem as I run dual monitors and I keep my mail, calendar and tasks off to one screen along with various windows I want open but not on my main monitor (Finder, Word, Excel, Acrobat, App Start, Putler and so on). I am way too busy to keep checking back with my GTD program to see whats coming up.

This is an essential function. I was disappointed yet again that Apple chose to not create a proper tasking function with Lion. Each passing year and OS and nothing. It would be nice to see someone step in with something that covers all the basics and integrates with Mail, iCal and everything OS X. No fireworks, no dancing paper clips. I havent tried every GTD program but more than a few. At some point you have to think about the money for nothing. On another note, I had one incident requiring support and it took them three days to answer (weekdays) and they knew Things had bricked itself. I ended up going through Time Machine to get what I needed and fixed it myself.
